Your Totals
If you took all the actions listed above, you would reduce your emissions by
pounds per year

percent of your total emissions
Your new total annual CO2 emissions would be
pounds per year

ABOVE are my results that i would save or use. We are planning to help out the environment with our changes that we have not already made. I think this is a very good test for all families to take. You learn a lot about your house and how much you are hurting/ helping the environment. We do recycle a lot and it makes us feel good knowing we are helping the environment. I like this test as did my parents. Thanks for assigning it. I think we should have more and more families taking this to help the world we live in today.

671 pounds per year, 7% of total emmissions, and 90671 pounds per year

I just finished reading the seventeen page article about Global Warming. Some of the main points are shown in the pictures. One major point is how the temperature is going up over the past years. Also a big point was that back in 1939 people said the earth's temp was getting warmer! The scarce of the premafrost is another big point. The last large point I will hit is the melting of the ice, that's a huge key to some proof.

I'm not sure if I think Global Warming is actually happening but after the movie in class and reading this article it definetly makes me look at the situation differently. One big key that hits me is the polar bears and how all the ice is melting at the poles. Also all the charts on the increasing temperature changes over the past fifty years or so. Also the preafrost is getting more scarce which is making things fall down like homes and buildings. My conclusion is, yes, I do belive that we are Global Warming and we need to do something about it

I just finished playing the game. It's a lot harder then somone would think! I killed two kids on the way to the watering hole.Of those two kids I mananged to get one of the kids some water, but then died on the way back. On my third try I got the third child to the water and back to the camp. While at the camp my camp was atttacked.

After playing this game it makes you want to help them even more!! It really gives you the full effect of whats really happening. This game made me understand how hard and life threating even teenagers and younger children have to go through just to get water! It's not right, we really need to get going in order to help these people. Hopefully our new President will acutally take action to try and save some lives in Darfur. I think our school should hold a drop off box for any supplies that people in Darfur could use. Then our class could ship it over to Darfur. We need to take a stand in helping Darfur, and this game would change anyones mind into helping!

This article about single-sex classrooms is about how a school in Georgia wants to seperate the men and women into seperate classes. With the guys in one class they won't act up so much and beahve bettter; they won't need to impress the ladies. Also with the girls in a seperate class they won't be afraid to speak up, because they won't try to look smart infront of the boys.

I think this is an okay idea because I agree with the behavior of the guys and the willingness to speak out but also the guys are our friends and it is sexist. That's why I don't like it because we are away from our friends. I do like it because we won't have as many disruptions.

245 countries 192 UN Member States in 10 minutes 143 countries remain I did pretty good I think with naming all of those listed above. I think it's a fun test to take; I remembered a lot of them from the recent map. That's how I started off with; then I tried to think of different countries like Brazil and so on. -7petersen
