I use 29,869 CO2 PPY(Pounds Per Year). That is alot of CO2 I let out in the air to reduce is recycle, buy some of the energy star appliances that will use less energy. We drive a ford explorer that use 21 mpg I dont think that is good nor bad. We have thirty-two 75-watt incandenscent light bulbs which is 3,200 pounds of CO2. Another thing I can do is lower my heater by 5 degrees and turn up my air conditioner by 5 degrees. This information says that little things have big impacts in this world. This will work really good if millions of people would do it. If I do more things like turning off a light bulb when no one is using it or I can also change it to a 25-watt light bulb. All those little things took away 8,258 CO2 PPY. That is 28% of my total emmissions.

                                              

                                                         Global Warming

 

This story is about how global warming is happening and why is happening. Also some people try to hide what is happening to not scare the people around the world. The reason why people need to react is because the world is going to react at the last second to do something to stop it when we could stop it now. This story talks about what happend in 1920's to 1960's that the world had its first warning about the global warming. The second warning was in 1950's to 1970's the people still did not try to stop it from coming. Another thing people say is that people created a climate catastraphe. The story shows temperture of the last decades and shows that the temperture is rising higher each decade. Also we need to stop it because in the North Pole it is getting warmer and if it gets warmer their will be less ice and more water. If their is less ice and more water the Polar Bears will die because they dont have ice to rest on and that means they will drown. The extincent of Polar Bears will come and prabobly we are next if we dont do nothing about it. In conclusion I want to say that we still have time to stop it all we have to do is stop putting so much CO2 In the atmospher so the world could let out more sun rays.

What I think about this story is good and bad for students. One reason is good that boys will try harder in school and girls will to and will help them for the future. It will get kids better jobs in the future and if students have better jobs they will have better lives and better futures for their kids. It will help the country and the will help the world. Also their is a reason why people invented an all boy schools and an all girl schools. So if you want and your son/daughter want to go to those kinds of schools they will choose them. This idea that people came up with is unfair to students who want to go with girls and boys in the same school or classrooms. So I think students should have a choice on what kind of schools they want to go. That is what I think about the story.
