I believe on mostly stuff that the Republicans think, but I also believe that some of the stuff Democrats think are better than that of the Republican's. The issues that are most important to me are: gay marriage and abortions.

The World is Flat/ 9-11 Recollection

Thomas Friedman's book, The World is Flat, pretty much explains to us that technology is changing the world. People in other countries such as; China, and India have the same opprotunities as us Americans. With this happening, the other countries are taking away Americans' jobs by being smarter and getting hired for a lot less money, and because of that, there won't be many "just American" countries anymore. That is trouble for us, our jobs will get replaced by more intelligiant people that are willing to work harder and for less.

I don't remember a whole lot from when 9-11 happened; just that there were three planes crashed by terrorists and that approximately 3,000 poeple lost their lives that day. I was in the 3rd grade at the time, and just doing some work that the teacher was having us do and stopped us in our worked and turned on the tv and told us about what was going on in Washington D.C., New York, and Pennsylvania. We all felt bad and worried, but we didn't really even understand what was happening.
